Stockholm ,August 2006

Hello There!

I had a great time in Stockholm, Sweden!

During my one week stay I saw some of my Swedish musician friends: Micke who has a nice studio in Stockholm www.mikaelwikman.com was kind enough to show it to me. Here is Micke in one of the studio rooms.

Västerås bassplayer Janne was also in town. We played in Ängelsberg Blues with Micke and Janne a while ago .

I visited many music stores in Stockholm. Especially enjoyed Hellstone Music at Götgatan.
Tony Roy Taylor there gave me this great record of Conny Bloom's Titanic Truth where he plays drums and sings, too.

Also went to Gävle Cityfest to see great guitar player Clas Yngström, got to get to know him while I was working as a sound engineer in Finnish Broadcasting Company (Radio Mafia).
Clas played this time with Eivon Boogie Band.
And I was happy to see The Boppers, when I was a kid I digged their stuff a lot!

Here some photos from Gävle:

Jazzclub Stampen in Old Town of Stockholm was a great experience.
They had a Saturday jam where I got a chance to climb on stage ,too.
Brian Kramer was hosting the jam and everyone had fun!
Hope to get Brian and his band to Helsinki to play...check his site: www.briankramerblues.com
Thanks especially to Brian. Mike, Derek and Bill!
Here some Stampen feelins: Allright, Folks!
Then I went to Pub Anchor to sing some Rockkaraoke, met some nice people there .Check out: www.pubancor.com and Marcus's (who runs the Rock Karaoke)band: www.ozzythecoverband.com
Thanks for everyone for the good time in Sweden.See Ya!
