Pelle Miljoona Acoustic Trio:Rauma and Pori 9-10.3.2007

Long time-no seeing...

Well, Pelle Miljoona Akustinen Trio(Acoustic Trio) gigs are taking place during this March, here some photos of the tour.

In Pori we run into this strangest thing-there is and own street for Pelle Miljoona. OWN STREET!!

So we could do nothing else but go under that street sing and start playing!

Fortunately Barry Kling was there with his camera and as well with his video camera:

Villen Mesta, Kausala

Hello!
Sat 21st of Oct our convoy headed towards Kausala via Mäntsälä.
Had to pull Gempsu (GMC) there with a rope(only broke once). Hessu was driving our other van steadily and Pelle and Illi following us--steering wildly and ready to brake..;)
We made it to Mäntsälä, so Gempsu can get a fresh geer box or however you name it!

Toijala Backstage 7thof Oct.

And in the morning of 12thOct woke up facing an unpleasant surprise:empty tire!

Finally found ourselves on the way back home with set of new back wheel tires!

Restaurant Maksim at Salo is a very pleasant place , the owner knows how to keep performers happy.Always nice to get some positive vibes from the organizer.Thanks, Maksim!

Suburban Rally

Happening at Suomenlinna/Seawolf Studios

Hello!

I have an honour to sing on John Cloud's, Head of Playground Label & International Playground Music Scandinavia, coming solo album.
I'm doing the backing vocals on three songs.Very good songs, indeed!!
On one of the songs we really had good time shouting like hell and here are the noicemakers:
Sammy from Private Line, I, John Cloud and Matthau from Bloodpit.
Eliaz from Private Line was also singing but unforunately not here in the photo.

On the top you can see the Boss Lady of Seawolf Studios,Ms.Virpi Immonen.
Thaks to this very talented-recording, producing, leading... just name it!- lady of the house!
Can't wait to hear all those songs, I don't even know who all is going to be on that record!
Should be out sometime in February, according to John's words.
All the best to John Cloud with his solo album, can't wait to get it in my hands!

Fall news-gigs with Pelle Miljoona!

Autumn leaves are almost falling and the desperation calling...oh not that bad all the time!
Pelle Miljoona Trio gigs have started (www.pellemiljoona.net).

Pelle, Tero Siitonen and I are playing quite an acoustic set, from older stuff to songs from the new album Arambol. I myself play violin,acoustic guitar and bass, percussions and sing. Tero changes between bass, acoustic,mandolin and Pelle himself concentrating in singins and playing acoustic and harmonica.

Next gig with this group is going to be at Koivupub,Koivukylä,Vantaa.

I myself am flying to Dusseldorf this Thursday for couple af days to play there but will be back on Sat tu get to Pelle gigs.

Kontufestarit 19th of Aug,2006

Hello!

It was the last gig with Dave Lindholm in English!
Sooo sad...well gonna miss playing with those guys but Dave is now concentrating to do something in Finnish also, I guess!

Anyway, a live record is coming out soon via Bluelight Records .
There are tracks from our live shows.
Haven't heard any tracks yet, don't know what all songs are gonna be there but I'll let ya know.

Anssi Nykänen couldn't come to the last show so Lacu from Hanoi Rocks was playing drums with us, thanks Lacu! He also played at Karjalohja Roots Festival with us. Lacu, Dave and I have also been playing together earlier...at 1996-97 we all were together in "Dave, Lady &The Canpaza Gypsys"...Petrza Tolonen was playing bass at that time. We made this "Hot" album together.

Remu & The Hurriganes was amazing at Kontufestari, I went to see their club gig at Wenla, Kontula, at the same evening and they were kickin' ass like hell!!

I was really in flames!
