Lazy Thursday

Hello!

This week has been quite easy-going gig-wise.
Tuesday was the grand opening of this great new live music club CLub Liberte (www.clubliberte.fi) located in Kallio, Helsinki.
Great party there with Finnish Mastervoice Kari Tapio and His Band.
Joona Jalkanen, one of the owners, promises good action throughout the year.Live bands, great DJ's etc.
And also weekly jam session!
I got a chance to be there last Sunday and it was lots of fun.

Here Nieminen(Kanttori) playing Hammond organ, Jani Pethman behind the drums, Luumu Kaikkonen in guitar and I jamming with bass.
That is the usual house band except that Jani Jalkanen is the Bass Master!
Jam club is again there this Sunday 18th of June and will be back in August.
So last chance to be jamming before the summer jam break.Be There!


This coming weekend, 17th of June, we are going to be having a duo gig in Fiskars Folk Festival with Luumu Kaikkonen. Playing some of my own Finnish songs and some other good rootsy stuff.
Playing time 21.00 (http://www.fiskarsvillage.net/fff/). Fiskars is a beautiful place and if the weather is like this..Wow!
