Hello There!

I just stepped into this new world, jumped into this Blog-thing!

I honestly don't know how often I will be here but anyway maybe this is an easier way to keep my pages updated.

I mostly write this in English because most of the information on my own web pages is in Finnish.
And since most of the music I'm involved with is in English nowadays I also want to say something in English.

Right now some duo gigs with Ilkka "Luumu" Kaikkonen are coming, see my gig list from my own pages:http://www.mariahanninen.net/keikat.html .

Well, now I'm actually concentrating on learning the bass lines for summer's action with DAVE LINDHOLM. It's been 35 years since he recorded his first album with Ferris.
And now it's time to play songs even from that period during these summer gigs. He has recorded so many albums that I don't even know but many song from different English language albums are gonna be played. In drums there is gong to be legendary Anssi Nykänen and the other guitar man besides Dave is Mika "Lamppari" Lamminsivu.
First gig is at On The Rocks , Helsinki at 1st of June. I'm really exited about playing the bass and singin something also...uuuhh! Here is a photo of me and Dave at Lucky Fellow's backstage, taken at New Year 2006:

Oh, my voice can also be heard on BABY WOODROSE's "Love Comes Down"-album and EERO KOIVISTOINEN MUSIC SOCIETY's album "X-RAY". Both released this spring.
